Victoria (Viki) Quigg

Clinical Psychologist / Owner

BA (Psych) Hons, MClinPsych MAPS

Viki is always grateful for the opportunity to provide support. She regularly notices the bravery that therapy takes, and that being vulnerable in session, is immense. She aims to work in a way that allows client sets their own treatment goals and she is the support that holds difficult or overwhelming emotions when needed. This gives the client full ownership of the positive outcomes of therapy and shows them they can create a better life. Viki also believes the therapeutic relationship is the single most important aspect of therapy. Clients can only be vulnerable when there is trust in the relationship and therefore, being authentic, honest, and genuine is imperative so Viki aims to develop a very human and real relationship.

Viki's main interests lie in the treatment of trauma, including PTSD, Complex PTSD, and Dissociative Disorders, with a particular interest in Dissociative Identity Disorder. Since graduating from her masters program, Viki has undertaken training in structural dissociation theory and the administration of EMDR and has completed Dr Yapko's training in Clinical Hypnosis. Additional to her interest in trauma, Viki also has experience working with adult ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and personality disorders. Viki will, however, work with most mental health struggles, and with over 5 years of experience running all different types of group therapy, she has learnt how to think on her feet and fit the treatment to the client moment to moment in session.

Finally, the last but very integral member of our team, is Dog-tor Jaffa. He is a 9-year-old Miniature Fox Terrier. He works K9-5 and spends much of his time laying in bed next to Viki's chair. He loves to be warm because he's so small so he is usually curled up in his blanket. He's a shy dog but loves to have a sniff of clients as they come into the clinic.

If you have an allergy or fear of dogs please let us know and he's more than happy to get pats from our admin team during your session.
